My name is Nyaluoka Gai Diet, a 17-year-old South-Sudanese refugee living in Kenya. I lost my parents to the South Sudan civil war in 2014. I am the second born in my family, but got separated from my siblings because of the war and I do not know their whereabouts. While attempting to flee my country in 2014, I came across Mr. Andrew Lang, who brought me to Kenya together with many other children he found in the street. Since then, Mr. Lang, through OPOTO has continued to take care of my needs including food, accommodation, school fees, and health care. I am currently in grade 8 and I am so thankful for OPOTO’s support. I pray for the financial stability of OPOTO to enable it continue supporting me and other children and help me become a successful person in the future
